Kids Express Learning Center Reviews

Amazing facility! Beautiful management and fantastic teachers! If your child needs to be in a school environment, this is the place to be! I have visited many schools and this place may be one of the best in the state, if not the country!

Our daughter was enrolled at Kids Express at 8 weeks old. Her teachers are amazing, which made my first few months back to work so much easier. They create a positive, warm, and loving environment. Parent/teacher communication is outstanding! Her teachers do not hesitate to call me at work if an issue arises or if she has learned to do something new :) Her teachers also fill out daily sheets, e-mail weekly, post lesson plans weekly, send out monthly newsletters, complete individual portfolios containing photos, anecdotes, and work samples, and have parent/teacher conversations two times throughout the school year. When I drop off/pick up my daughter, or visit her classroom, I observe the children engaged in various rich, developmentally appropriate activities, including art activities, story time, pretend play/dress up, nature walks, feeding the animals, planting in the gardens, exploring in the sensory table, etc. I know that my daughter truly enjoys her days at Kids Express because when I drop her off in the morning, she gives me a kiss and happily says Bye bye momma, and when I pick her up, she wants to stay and play! We are extremely happy to say that our daughter has had the opportunity to attend such a wonderful preschool!

Beautiful grounds and facility, and great variety of activities available. The focus here is primarily academic. I agree with the other parent that it is overly structured and they strive to have the kids be obedient little robots at all times. Kids are corrected, admonished, and disciplined with time outs and lost privileges so frequently that some kids begin to think they are 'bad'. Teachers seem to be hired for their ability to create programs, not for their warmth with children. Few (if any?) of the teachers are actually parents and some have a textbook approach to kids. Maybe worth trying for the wonderful grounds, the variety of activities, and degreed teachers. But if you're looking for emotional needs to also be met, or your child gets attached easily, be careful. They won't hesitate to say your child isn't a 'fit', and moving a child is so hard on them (and you!).

Teachers and academics are very high quality. Obedient children will do phenomenally here. Energetic children who don't like to sit and/or have occasional meltdowns may be counseled out of the school. I hope their attitude changes soon, as they are a wonderful school otherwise.

This is a wonderful school with excellent academic programs for preschool children. My 4 year old is already able to perform above kindergarten levels, and is able to develop other interests which will serve him outside of school. While the student-teacher ratio is higher, the discipline is outstanding, and usually done in a positive manner, which can be difficult when dealing with preschool age children! Beware the untold costs though. There are many 'special lunches' and field trips at an extra cost, which while voluntary, I hesitate to not include my children in. The monthly cost is fairly high overall, but the number of days per week option is great! Overall we are very pleased with the quality of education that they provide to preschool children, and have chosen to continue there with kindergarten.
