Rock County Christian Schools - Beloit Reviews

They teach from a Christion based curriculum but don't seem to put those values into practice. And contrary to what one parent posted, their students are far ahead of any public school in Rock county. Academic scores prove that. There just does not seem to be much kindness, caring, christian values practiced in that school. In all, except for the curriculum and the cost, there isnt much difference between R.C.C.S and any public school.

RCCS has Godly principles, however they are often not enforced or taught. Many of the children are mean and gossipy and niether the administration or teachers correct these attitudes. The school is very secretive when it comes to the 'going ons' of the school, and usually leaves the parents in the dark. The main goal of the school seems to be all about the money and tuition, which by the ways goes up every year but the quality seems to continue to go down.

My child has attended this school since kindergarten. I have always been pleased with the cooperation of teachers to fit my child's learning needs. This past year has been BAD, poor communication on the teachers and administrations part on problems that are occurring with my child at school. I have tried several times to ask and get information but have been made to feel like a bother. As stated in previous reviews, tuition is VERY high and get higher each year. I feel that staff need to be more open and attentive to parents concerns.

Our son just completed his first year at RCCS Beloit campus. We have seen our son grow spiritually. It is wonderful to have Christian teachers showing their love of God in the way they work, teach, and live. RCCS's staff, and students have been such a blessing. We look forward to the next school year!

My kids enjoy their school! The teachers are accessible and professional. I am thoroughly confident they will be prepared for any college experience. The student atmosphere has helped my kids feel accepted and secure about themselves just the way they are instead of trying to be the 'popular' way. There are enough extra curricular activites to enhance their school experience. I don't know what I would do without this school for my kids.

We have been involved in RCCS for many years. All four of our children have graduated from this school and have been blessed by the instruction and Christian perspective they were given through their education there. All are serving the Lord in a variety of capcities, but all have benefited from their training at RCCS. The cost tuition is minimal when you consider the benefits. He heartily endorse RCCS.

My children attended this school for four years. I had to pull them out because I was very dissapointed in the low quality teachers, and all of the hidden costs. The school is in bad shape despite the very high tuition costs. There are no computers, and the covers are falling right off of the books. The administration at this school needs an overhaul. I paid the sky high tuition for my 3 children to attend (what I thought was)a quality school for 4 years, but my kids are now back in public school far behind academically. Don't make the same mistake I did. I did a diservice to my children.

My child is currently attending Rock County Christian. I'm not happy with how this school is run. I've found that there is no minimum qualifications needed to teach at the school. My child has come home many times wondering why the teacher assigns things that the teacher herself can't figure out. I end up spending many hours each night after I get home from work trying to teach her things that the school should be able to teach her. It's rediculous! I'm in the process of trying to find a different school for her. Another big concern at this school is bullying. I have spoken many times to the teachers and the principle about my daughter being bullied, but nothing is ever done. They are afraid to talk to the parents because they're afraid of losing money if the parents of the bullies leave. This should not be happening!
